‘To crush or squeeze something into a compact mass ‘
SCRUNCH, explores different techniques in making fabrics sit on and around the body, through the use of elastics and gathers. As always, this range features a beautiful selection of high end sustainable fabrics such as a gorgeous Organic Cotton Ribbing, knitted here in Melbourne, along with a beautiful Japanese tencel, a deadstock wool blend and a soft Hemp / Organic Cotton jersey.
Scrunch also features an incredible print by Lee-Ann Williams, a proud Bunuba / Wangkatjunka women the Kimberley's in Western Australia. I met Lee-Anne through the Design Within Country project and am so proud and excited to be able to use her print in this range. The print is of the cracks found in the dry mud by the river beds after a big flood.
